Scottsdale 4th Water Balloon Championship
Come join us for our water balloon toss championship. Round times include 5:30pm, 5:50pm, 6:10pm, 6:30pm, 6:50pm, 7:10pm and 7:30pm with the championship at 8:10pm. You will not want to miss it!
Official Rules
- Divide into pairs of 2
- Find a lane and stand facing each other, each on the closest line markers
- Once instructed begin to gently toss the water balloon back and forth to each other
- The opposite player must catch the balloon without dropping or popping it
- Players must take a step back after each successful toss
- If the balloon breaks, the team is eliminated
- The last pair with an intact water balloon moves onto the championship!
Fireworks & MORE
Fireworks begin approximately at 9:00pm, set against the McDowell Mountains
In accordance with this event’s guidelines and working closely with city fire safety officials, wind speeds could impact the start time of this fireworks show. Out of an abundance of caution, the start time is subject to change, and may be delayed from the originally scheduled 9pm, until such time that wind velocity has decreased to the safe and manageable range.
